天山茶舍位于蕉城区古老的茶贸重镇霍童。霍童镇产茶历史悠久，60年代，霍童镇的霍山发现一株野生大茶树，比太姥山大茶树尤高，为当时全省发现的最大的野茶树。
茶舍内展示着有关蕉城区茶叶的历史、文化和品牌图片。
还种植了蕉城区辖区内现有的16个茶树品种。
