报道称，戴安娜在1997年的悲剧不会在电影中涉及。影片将聚焦她与查尔斯之间的关系，以及她对儿子威廉和哈里的爱。
The story is said to take place over three days during one of Diana's final Christmases at the House of Windsor in their Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England.
“Usually, the prince comes and finds the princess, invites her to become his wife and eventually she becomes queen. That is the fairy tale. When someone decides not to be the queen, and says, I’d rather go and be myself, it’s a big big decision, a fairy tale upside down … that is the heart of the movie.”the director Pablo Larraín said.
The film will not delve into Diana's tragic death, but instead focus on her marriage to Charles and the love she had for children Prince William and Prince Harry.

Kristen Stewart has showcased her striking resemblance to Princess Diana in the first image from her starring role in the upcoming film Spencer.
While the announcement was met with a mixed response, including fury over failure to cast a British actress, the image is no doubt set to blow away critics thanks to the incredible resemblance from the Los Angeles-born star.

Kristen added though that there is one thing characteristic she's desperate to master, admitting: 'The accent is intimidating as all hell because people know that voice, and it's so, so distinct and particular'.
'I'm working on it now and already have my dialect coach.'
