large这个单词我们知道是“大”的意思，但someone is at large意思不是说“某人很大”，而是指的“某人正逍遥法外”，acriminal escaped or not yet captured. murder是“谋杀”的意思，murderer也就是指的“杀人凶手”。
我们在读这句话的时候，要注意 at large 这个词组的发音，at 的/t/因为后面接着辅音，可以省略不发出来，所以就是at large.
