当地时间3月23日，美国参议院以57票赞同、43票反对的投票结果确认维韦克·穆尔蒂（Vivek Murthy）出任公共卫生局局长。
现年43岁的穆尔蒂曾在奥巴马政府时期担任公共卫生局局长一职，他也是美国第一位亚裔公共卫生局局长。穆尔蒂将继续协助拜登政府恢复民众对于公共卫生方面的信任。（央视记者 许弢）
