缅甸媒体报道，克钦邦莫茂镇辖区内的缅甸国防军卡马雅320营，4月17日晚7点多，遭KIA攻击，战事异常激烈。
莫茂镇1名民众称，晚7点多开打，好像是攻击卡马雅320营，枪炮声不断响起。
据悉，军方为夺回ALaw Bum山营地，发动了多次攻势，并派出战机空袭，但收效甚微，因此向八莫地区增派了大量兵力。由此，近日克钦邦多地，不断爆发战事。
