“好好学习”是学习要努力的意思，“向上”也不是真的要“往上面去”，而是要“取得进步”。
“进步”在英语里叫 progress，“取得进步”就是 make progress
所以“好好学习，天天向上”的英语就是 study hard and make progress every day。

progress 做名词有“进展，进程“的意思，in progress 意思就是”在进程中，在进行中“。
1. We should study hard and make progress every day.
我们应该好好学习，天天向上。

I'll teach you a lesson.
给你点颜色看看
如果跟老外说 I'll give you some clolor to see see，老外会一头雾水的哟~
“给你点颜色看看”不是真的要让人家看看各种各样的颜色，而是表示“我要给你个教训”。
英语里恰好有个短语就是这个意思，叫做 teach someone a lesson。这里的 lesson 就是“经验、教训”的意思。
That'll teach you to do something.
这是做某事给你的教训。
这句话中动词不定时做主语，也就是说，that 指代的就是后面的 to do something。
整句话可以改写为 to do something will teach you，意思就是“做某事会给你点教训”。
1. If you don't listen to your teacher, I'll teach you a lesson.
如果你不听老师的话，我就会给你点颜色瞧瞧。
2. You were late for school again ? That'll teach you a lesson to stay up all night!

太年轻太单纯

“太年轻太单纯”并不是 too young too simple 哦~这里的单纯并不是说这个人简单纯粹，而是说这个人天真。“天真”在英语里叫做 naive。

认为一个人就能解决所有问题实在是太天真了。

吉米老师听过太多人说 you can you up，这样是不对的哦~ 因为“你行你上”要表达的是“你要是能更好的话，你就去做，不要随便嘲讽别人”。
做的
go ahead 就是“开始做，着手干”的意思。

这里的 game 可以理解为“比赛，竞赛”，ahead of game 意思是领先于竞争对手。
1. "Can I use your laptop?"

”我能用你的电脑吗？“
”当然，拿去吧。“
