7月7日，外交部发言人汪文斌主持例行记者会。有记者就《中朝友好合作互助条约》是否续签、中朝关系等问题向发言人提问。
汪文斌表示，根据《中朝友好合作互助条约》的规定，在中朝双方就修改或终止问题达成协议前，该条约一直有效。中朝双方签订友好合作互助条约，这是两国老一辈领导人高瞻远瞩作出的战略决策，是两国关系史上的一件大事。
