刘炳森 （1937-2005），字树庵，号海村，幼年自号刘五先生。 传统功力深厚，书艺向以隶、楷著称于世，并兼长行、草。隶法在坚实的传统功力基础上，充分发挥了自己的创造性，用现代的审美意识并参以姊妹艺术的某些韵律和情趣，加上文学素养，形成了鲜明的个人风格，在当代中国书坛上独树一帜，世称“刘体隶书”。
