北京时间9月6日，亚足联官方宣布，12强赛中国VS越南在阿联酋沙迦举行。
官方公告如下：
官宣 | 亚足联亚洲预选赛最终阶段-通往卡塔尔之路，B组第3轮中国对阵越南的比赛将于10月7日在阿联酋沙迦举行。
A组第4轮叙利亚对阵黎巴嫩的比赛将于10月12日在约旦首都安曼举行。
