12月19日，孩子们趁着周末晴好天气在怀化学院西校区田径场学习、踢球。今年以来，该校狠抓基础设施建设，校园环境焕然一新，不仅为高校学生提供了优越的学习环境，也成为市民闲暇休闲的好去处。
