中新网4月16日电据日本放送协会(NHK)报道，日本总务省发布的最新数据显示，截至2021年10月1日，日本的总人口为1.25502亿，较上一年减少64.4万人，减幅为0.51%，创历史新高。
报道称，这是日本总人口连续11年减少。
从年龄层看，65岁以上人口占比达28.9%，创历史新高；15岁以下人口占比为11.8%，15-64岁占比59.4%，双双创下历史新低。
