山斑鸠是鸽形目鸠鸽科斑鸠属的鸟类。也叫山鸠、金背鸠、金背斑鸠、麒麟斑、麒麟鸠、雉鸠、棕背斑鸠、东方斑鸠、绿斑鸠、山鸽子、花翼、大花鸽、大花斑。主要栖息于开阔的平原和低山丘陵地带的阔叶林中。以各种植物的果实和种子为食，也吃少量动物性食物。 张清 摄
