佳能日前在北美（Nothlight Images ）注册了两支RF卡口超广角变焦镜头的专利11-24mm F4 IS和8-24mm F4 Fisheye。另外，这两个专利里还包含了包括12-24mm F4、14-35mm F4、15-35mm F4以及8-28mm F4 L Fisheye实施图例。
