6月9日，@中国地震台网速报 对网传“俄媒报道贝加尔湖发生8.3级地震”消息进行辟谣称，这次地震是真的，震中位于贝加尔湖，发震时刻是北京时间6月8日20时24分18秒，但震级远没有这么大，中国和美国测定的震级都是5.2级。
