海沃德当前的合同还有两年，工资分别为3007万和3150万。此前就有消息源透露，黄蜂想送走海沃德，并已与步行者商谈了加首轮签换特纳的交易。
21-22赛季，海沃德为黄蜂出战49场，场均出场31.9分钟，得到15.9分4.6篮板3.6助攻1抢断，三分命中率39.1%。
