“夏盈”：北皋小学部举行云端音乐汇演

在学年末邀请家长入校观看学生的艺术演出是启明星的传统。尽管这个学年结束由于疫情影响家长不能进入校园，但是为了不让父母缺席庆祝孩子们的成长，也为了展示在环境带来挑战的时候，启明星社区依然坚持团结和追求卓越的决心和勇气，北皋小学部决定把学年末的音乐表演搬到云端。

演出的主题是“夏盈”，由孩子们的一个个歌唱表演视频穿缀而成。

“在这丰盈的盛夏，我们看百草丰茂、闻瓜果飘香、听蝉鸣嘹亮、叹时光悠长；同时，我们以坚韧面对挑战、以勇气化解困难，家长们、学生们和老师们以饱满的热情付出满满的努力，团结一心促成了这场来之不易的在线音乐会，让遥不可及变成了触手可及，我们也收获了内心的充盈与满足。”

其实，早在线上学习开始之前，老师就开始带领孩子们排练演出了。“夏盈”搬到云端的决定一经做出，得到孩子们的积极响应。大家虽然不能聚到一起，还是想办法录制了一段段演出视频，好像汇集成亮眼珠链的一颗颗珍珠！

音乐老师王云斯是云端“音乐会”的组织和协调老师之一，大家协力完成这次演出的努力让她感动：“有的同学利用疫情稍微好转的空隙，小范围汇聚到公园的空旷空间。他们喜悦和发自内心的自由歌唱，成为一道靓丽风景。我们怀揣共同的希望和热情，要把孩子们美妙的歌声汇到一起，展示出他们的风采！”

Inviting parents to watch their children’s artistic performances at the end of the school year is a Daystar tradition. At the end of this academic year, however, parents could not enter the campus due to COVID-19 restrictions. To ensure that parents would still be able to enjoy witnessing their children’s development, Daystar Beigao Elementary School decided to hold an online concert. Despite the challenges arising from the pandemic, the Daystar community remains committed to fostering solidarity and striving for excellence.

Thesummer-themedperformance consists of videos of children singing.

“The changing seasons mark the passing of time. During the richness of summer, we all appreciate lush green vegetation, the aroma of harvest fruits, and the loud chorus of cicadas. At the same time, we continue to maintain an attitude of strength in the face of adversity. Parents, students, and teachers made concerted efforts to make this online concert possible. We are filled with a deep sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.”

In fact, long before the online teaching began, teachers were already having students rehearse for the summer-themed performance. The students were thrilled by the decision to present their performance online. Even though it wasn’t possible for everyone to perform in the same place, they still managed to record videos capturing their own performances, just like individual pearls being strung together to make a sparkling pearl necklace.

Music teacher Yunsi Wang was one of the organizers and coordinators for this online concert. Touched by the efforts of everyone working together to complete this performance, she said, “Some students took advantage of the slight improvement in the COVID-19 situation to gather on a small scale in the open area of a park. They sang happily and cheerfully from their hearts, attracting high praise from passers-by. By embracing a shared enthusiasm, we hoped to bring together the wonderful singing voices of the children to showcase their outstanding performances.”

Every child is precious, and every effort they make deserves respect. We invite you to join us in watching one part of the summer-themed concert, “Bountiful Summer.” Let us give our children rapturous applause!
