9月6日下午两点半，在华为Mate 50系列及全场景新品秋季发布会上，华为正式发布Mate 50系列手机。
该系列共有三款型号，包括Mate50、Mate 50 Pro和Mate 50 RS保时捷设计，拥有五种不同的配色，包括了冰霜银、曜金黑、流光紫、昆仑破晓（黑色）、昆仑霞光（橙色），其中前面三种配色使用玻璃后壳，后面两种配色采用了素皮材质后壳。
