2月24日，中国传统元宵节，敦煌9支社火队，在敦煌市区主要城市节点和鸣沙山月牙泉等景区有序进行社火巡演。
据悉，这是近年来敦煌规模最大参与人数最多的一次大型社火巡演活动。数万敦煌市民和游客观看了古郡敦煌千年非遗民俗闹社火场景。(王斌银许永涛)
