里奇蒙德表示：“乔丹、科比，这毫无疑问，还有韦德，你还会把我放进去的，然后是‘滑翔机’德雷克斯勒。”
里奇蒙德在1988年被勇士选中，新秀赛季当选年度最佳新秀，曾随湖人队夺得总冠军， 3次入选NBA最佳阵容二阵，6次入选全明星阵容，2014年入选篮球名人堂。
