北京时间2024年5月11日，NBA官方宣布，2024年选秀乐透抽签仪式将于当地时间5月12日下午三点（北京时间5月13日3:00）在芝加哥举行。
各队抽签概率显示：活塞和奇才拿到状元签的概率最高，均为14%；黄蜂第三13.3%，火箭（来自篮网）有4.5%的概率拿到状元签，有20.27%的机会拿到前四顺位。
今年的选秀大会将于6月27-28日进行，27日进行首轮选秀，28日次轮选秀。
