Shams在社交媒体上写道：“消息人士透露，丹佛的考德威尔-波普正在拒绝2024-25赛季1540万美元的球员选项，他将成为一名自由球员。波普——两届NBA总冠军，预计将有多支拥有薪资空间的球队对他感兴趣。”
波普在2013年进入联盟，在2020年和2023年分别代表湖人队和掘金队获得过NBA总冠军。
