谈及布劳恩新赛季出任球队首发得分后卫的可能性，马龙表示：“我们现在有一个空位（首发位置），我们有布劳恩和一些球员，我不会直接把这个位置给任何人的，大家将竞争上岗。”
今年休赛期，波普加盟了魔术。掘金总经理布斯此前在采访时透露，新赛季会用布劳恩顶替波普的首发位置。
