记者从临江市防汛抗旱指挥部获悉，7月24日晚，临江市局部地区强降雨，导致发生山洪地质自然灾害。临江市副市长、公安局局长夏琨等5人在抗洪抢险救灾中遇险，其中3人获救，夏琨及辅警李祥深失联。事发后，省、市组织多支救援队伍紧急搜救，目前搜救工作仍在持续进行中。
