1999年7月4日默伦斯滕出生于荷兰奈梅亨，先后效力过普雷斯顿、兰卡斯特和瓦尔韦克等多个俱乐部。
2022年7月，默伦斯滕加盟维特斯并效力至今。上赛季，他代表球队出场29次，其中28次首发，贡献一个进球。
在维特斯降级后，默伦斯滕寻求离队。最终，这位中场球员加盟桑普多利亚，并签约至2027年6月30日。
