本周我们来学习与口语地道表达相关的词汇。

1. stir the pot

像做饭搅动锅里的食物一样，给一件事情添油加醋，制造争端。

e.g. He loves to stir the pot at family gatherings by bringing up controversial topics.

e.g. He likes to stir the pot on social media by sharing controversial opinions.

2. go with the flow

随大流；顺其自然；放松

When things don't go as planned, it's best to just go with the flow and make on-the-spot changes.

He's a laid-back person who prefers to go with the flow rather than make detailed plans.

补偿：on-the-spot 现场的，当场的

3. productivity theater

看起来忙于工作，实际上是装出来的假象。

e.g. The weekly meeting felt like productivity theater, with everyone trying to look busy without accomplishing much.

e.g. She realized that staying late every night was just productivity theater and wasn't helping her reach her goals.

4. spill the beans / let the cat out of the bag

泄露秘密

e.g. She accidentally let the cat out of the bag about the surprise party while chatting with her friend.

e.g. He couldn't keep the secret any longer and finally spilled the beans about the surprise party.

5. fly under the radar

低调行事；避免关注

e.g. He prefers to fly under the radar at work to avoid drawing attention to himself.

e.g. Despite his talent, he chose to fly under the radar rather than seek the spotlight.
