中国地震台网自动测定：08月16日07时35分在中国台湾附近（北纬23.85度，东经121.67度）发生6.1级左右地震，最终结果以正式速报为准。
昨天，台湾连发三次地震。8月15日下午17时许，台湾宜兰县半小时内连续发生5.4级地震和4.0级地震，福建沿海多地有明显震感；当晚宜兰县海域发生4.4级地震，台北市区震感明显。目前暂无灾情传出。
