有水源或灌溉设施的园区可以定期灌水，以达到物理降温的目的。灌水时间宜选择在凌晨至土温上升之前。灌水时可增施一定比例的水溶性肥料或腐熟的清水粪，或者喷施花椒叶面肥，提高树体锁水抗旱能力。保留低矮野生杂草以减少地面水分蒸发，降低地表温度。
