壳牌9月18日公告称，将于9月最后一周开始对鹿特丹能源化工园（Pernis）园区内60多家工厂中的7家进行重大维护，维护是每六年开始一次周期的一部分。公告称，工厂将完全关闭，以检查、更新、检查和维护通常无法进入的内部设施。
