据FOS记者Michael McCarthy的消息源透露，ESPN可能会与Woj的徒弟Shams Charania和前ESPN员工Chris Haynes进行交谈。据《纽约邮报》报道，30 岁的Shams与The Athletic、Stadium和FanDuel的合同都已到期；42岁的海恩斯与露天看台的合同也是如此，他们都拥有丰富的上镜经验。
Woj在ESPN的年薪约为700万美元，仅次于亚当-谢夫特（NFL记者）的900万美元年薪。他的合同预计还剩两到三年，因此他留下的薪金空间大约为1500万到2000万美元。
