9月25日，宝马汽车发布了M8 Competition The Final Edition（直译为“最终版”）1 of 8车型，该特别版车型是为纪念宝马M8在日本市场停产而推出，限量8辆，包括M8 Competition Coupé（2辆）、M8 Competition Cabriolet（2辆）和M8 Competition Gran Coupé（4辆）。这些车型配备专属轮辋、限量版标识及碳纤维外装饰件，起售价为2718.8888万日元（IT之家）。
