北京时间9月28日，犹他爵士官方宣布，执行主教练威尔-哈迪第五年合同选项，此举将使这位36岁年轻教练的任期一直持续到2026-27赛季。
据报道，哈迪最初于2022年与爵士签订合同，其中第五个赛季为球队选项。在执教爵士三个赛季后，哈迪的总战绩为68胜96负，没有率队参加过季后赛。
