北京时间10月19日，游泳世界杯上海站（短池）进入到第二个决赛日。男子50米仰泳比赛中，中国选手徐嘉余出发反应时间为0.55，最终徐嘉余凭借22.98夺得该项目的铜牌。该项目的赛会纪录保持者澳大利亚库珀以22秒75夺冠。
