“Sisal fibre is using in various industries. China is a place where there are a lot of industries.” Elizabeth Kalambo, the CEO of the Sisalana Tanzania company brought sisal fibre and products to the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) . She is looking for the new clients from China.

Elizabeth showed raw sisal fibre, sisal twines and all kinds of sisal fibre handcrafts at the CIIE, which attracted many audiences to stop and visit.
“Currently China is the largest importer of sisal fibre from Tanzania. China is a potential place where there is a market of sisal fibre, and China is a place where there are a lot of industries. Sisal fiber is using in various industries.” Elizabeth added.
Elizabeth said that through the CIIE she believes she is going to open up new markets in various areas all over the world. “I has a lot of expectations because the CIIE is a global issue.
