在此前西汉姆对阵热刺的比赛中，库杜斯失去冷静，联系击打对手面部，被主裁判直红罚下。
因为这张红牌，库杜斯赛后即时被停赛3场。而今英足总就此事开出罚单，库杜斯被再禁赛2场并罚款6万英镑。
