Fans ofNike'sperformance running line may remember the fieryVaporfly 3 and Zoom Fly 6surfacing in September. As it turns out, those pairs are part of a larger collection inspired by Japan.

The latest Nike "Ekiden" collection shown here not only includes the aforementioned Vaporfly 3 and Zoom Fly 6 but also features the Alphafly 3 and Rival Fly 4. The range pays homage to Hakone Ekiden, a week-long relay race in Japan, with the colorway referencing the Zoom Streak Spectrum Plus from 2002.

Aside from the sneakers, this collection includes a matching Windrunner jacket and a long-sleeve t-shirt.

"Ekiden is a race where the items you wear also attract attention, so running in distinctive shoes motivates you to push your limits. This year’s flame design really gets me fired up for the race."
