印度通信部长辛迪亚（Jyotiraditya M. Scindia）11月12日表示，SpaceX旗下“星链”互联网服务正寻求获得安全许可，如果满足所有条件，便将获得在印提供卫星通信服务的许可证。
获得安全许可后，“星链”仍需获得卫星频谱才能开始提供卫星通信服务。
