伊拉克总理苏达尼当地时间11月25日公布了全国人口普查的初步结果。据统计，伊拉克全国总人口为45407895人，其中城市人口比例为70.3%，农村人口比例为29.7%。
年龄构成上，伊拉克15岁以下人口占比36.1%，15至64岁劳动年龄人口占比60.2%，65岁及以上人口占比3.7%。
苏达尼指出，伊拉克劳动年龄人口占比达到60%，人口年增长率为2.3%，已进入“人口红利期”。
当地时间20日，伊拉克举行该国27年来首次全国人口普查。
