当地时间11月26日，埃及红海省省长阿姆鲁·汉菲表示，红海游船沉没事故目前已打捞出三具遇难者遗体，仍有13人失踪。埃及武装部队的海军护卫舰和直升机的搜救工作仍在进行中。
25日5时许，游船“海上故事”在红海阿莱姆港附近海域突遭巨浪后倾覆。游船载有44人，包括13名埃及人和31名来自11个国家的乘客。埃及早些时候的声明称，已有28人获救。
