2024年12月3日，洛川县应急管理局发布一则情况通报：
2024年12月2日12时55分，洛川县一辆沃尔沃小型越野车(陕J44697)在县城解放路南段行驶中突然起火。接到群众报警后，洛川县消防救援大队和公安民警迅速赶赴现场施救，扑灭明火后发现车内共一人，已无生命体征。
经初步调查，死者系车主本人，现场勘查排除刑事案件。车后备箱载有家用液化气瓶，起火疑因燃气泄漏引发。具体起火原因，目前正在进一步调查中。
