印尼国家搜救局12月24日发布消息称，当地时间22日，印尼亚齐特区一艘载有31人的船只在阿拉斯河行驶过程中倾覆，事故已致4人死亡，7人失踪，另有20人获救。搜救工作正在进行中。
救援部门初步调查显示，船只超载和河水湍急是导致此次事故的主要原因。（总台记者 陶家乐）
