12月27日，湖南博物院发布关于元旦当天延长开放时间的通告。
为满足公众的参观需求，湖南博物院在元旦节期间将正常开放，并于2025年1月1日当天实施延长开放。
2025年1月1日元旦节当天，开放时间延长至20:00（19:00停止入馆）。新增2025年1月1日17:00—19:00的预约时段，增加5000人（仅限散客）。新增时段门票自2024年12月25日20:00起即可进行预约。
