北京时间1月5日，河南队外援中卫迈达纳更新社交媒体动态——他已经返回中国：“你好，中国❤️”
1月3日，河南队一线队在昆明开启第二阶段的冬训备战工作。接下来，巴西后卫迈达纳将归队参加冬训。
2024赛季，迈达纳共代表河南队出战29场比赛，上场时间总计2571分钟，打进4球。
在2024年8月份，河南足球俱乐部官方宣布，经双方协商一致，他们已经与外援迈达纳续约两年。
