根据意大利记者莫雷托的消息，拉什福德正在接受维拉的体检。
本赛季截至目前，27岁的拉什福德共为曼联出场24次，打进7球助攻3次，球员最近一次代表曼联出场还是在24年12月13日对阵比尔森胜利的欧联比赛中。
根据此前罗马诺的报道，拉什福德的租借合同中包含4000万英镑的选择买断条款，维拉将承担球员70%以上的工资。
