2月27日，设在北京西长安街北侧梅地亚中心的全国两会新闻中心正式启用。
目前已有3000多名中外记者报名采访全国两会，其中境内记者2000多名，港澳台记者和外国记者1000多名，记者报名数量比去年有进一步增长。全国两会新闻中心将秉持开放、透明精神，为中外记者提供新闻服务。
