4月21日，宁德时代发布钠离子电池品牌“钠新电池”，其首款产品为24V重卡启驻一体蓄电池，今年6月正式量产。宁德时代还计划在今年12月正式量产应用于乘用车领域的“钠新电池”。
宁德时代目前量产的钠离子电池能量密度达到175Wh/Kg，该公司2021年发布了能量密度为160Wh/Kg的第一代钠离子电池。
