艾伦先以5-4领先范争一进入第二阶段，又在第二阶段连胜四局，9-4率先拿到赛点，范争一在第14局打出86分又在第15局逆转挽救两个赛点后，艾伦单杆63分赢下第16局，最终艾伦10-6战胜范争一，晋级16强。
