据4月22日声明，Helvetia Holding AG同意与Baloise Holding AG合并，组建瑞士第二大保险集团。
合并后的公司将被命名为Helvetia Baloise，其业务量约为200亿瑞士法郎，涉及8个国家。合并后公司的总部将设在瑞士巴塞尔，Helvetia的Fabian Rupprecht将任CEO。
该交易预计将于今年四季度完成，需经两家公司股东批准。
