OpenAI当地时间4月24日宣布，将通过引入“深度研究”的轻量级版本来扩大Plus、Team和Pro用户的使用范围，以提高当前的速率限制，还向免费用户也推出了轻量级版本。OpenAI称，“深度研究”的轻量级版本由OpenAI o4-mini提供支持，服务成本较低，回复通常更短。当对话达到“深度研究”原始版本的限制，对话将自动默认为轻量级版本。
