弗里克在赛前发布会上表示亚马尔为大家准备了一个惊喜，不过亚马尔选择将惊喜留到决赛。
在赛前发布会上，弗里克表示：“亚马尔为比赛准备好了，等下观看训练你们就知道了，亚马尔为你们准备了一个特别的惊喜。”
不过在随后巴塞罗那的训练中，亚马尔全程一直带着帽子，一切迹象表明他为本场决赛做了一个新的发型，但是他现在还不想公布。
